![]() During the 1930's, the paint roller was invented. This ushered in the age of convenience for paint application; tasks that formerly took many hours became easier overnight. Of course, this improvement led to another quest: the optimal paint roller fabric. Enter Roller Fabrics. In 1946, the company began by manufacturing fabric for boot liners and cuffs, as well as polishing pads for the automotive industry. By 1950, water-based paints had gained much popularity for their fast preparation, easy application and quick-rinse clean-up. Roller Fabrics was the forefront of the water-based paint roller boom with ideal paint roller fabrics- dense, knitted pile, carefully blended with the highest quality of wool, nylon, acrylic and polyester. Since 1985, Roller Fabrics has been the dominant supplier of high-quality knitted pile fabric used in the manufacture of paint rollers. The company is also a leading supplier of wax applicator fabric and knitted polishing pad fabric. At Roller Fabrics, we believe that our success can be attributed to three things: consistent quality, a customer-based philosophy and old-fashioned hard work. |
